Bill Raven is a privacy-first iOS app that keeps subscriptions, utilities, and recurring bills organized. It combines a calm design system with defensive date logic so you always know what is due, what is overdue, and what is already handled.
The app targets iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 17 or later. Apple Watch support is not available yet, but interactive notifications work on all paired devices.
No. Everything runs locally on your device. You can add, edit, and pay bills with zero connectivity. iCloud/device backups capture your data automatically when you back up your device.
Tap the + button, choose a preset (Netflix, Rent, Utilities, etc.) or create a custom bill, enter the amount, pick a due date, and select a frequency (one-time, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, yearly).
Yes. Toggle “Variable Amount” when creating or editing a bill. When you mark it paid, Bill Raven prompts you to confirm that month’s amount before logging it.
On the dashboard, swipe left on a bill to reveal the delete action, then confirm to remove it. Deleting a bill is permanent and cannot be undone.
On the free tier, you can pick a default reminder window and time. Raven Plus unlocks Daily Digest (one summary alert per day) and Quiet Hours (mute reminders overnight).
Premium users can hide dollar amounts on widgets, showing only counts. Toggle it in Settings → Security & Privacy. Widgets update immediately after you change the setting.
Open Settings → Notifications, ensure alerts are enabled, tap “Send Test Notification,” and confirm permissions in iOS Settings > Bill Raven > Notifications.
At the moment, Bill Raven does not sync between multiple devices and keeps your data on a single iPhone. iCloud sync is planned for a future update.
Bill Raven uses "Noon-Anchor" to keep your due dates consistent when you move between timezones, so bills continue to be due on the same calendar day.
Yes. Bill Raven is an offline-first app, which means your financial data is stored securely on your iPhone and is not uploaded to external servers.
Apart from standard anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics provided by Apple and the App Store, Bill Raven does not transmit your bill data to any third-party servers.
You can clear your data from within the app by going to Settings → Data & Privacy, or by deleting the app from your device, which removes all locally stored data.
Open Bill Raven, go to Settings → Raven Plus, and follow the prompts to start a subscription through the App Store.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel Raven Plus.
In the app, go to Settings → Raven Plus and tap "Restore Purchases." If features still do not unlock, contact support with a screenshot of your subscription in Apple's Subscriptions screen.
